I found that the best way to wash all types of scarves is by hand wash & with cold water( I mean cold tab water) as this will keep them in their original shape.

About choosing the right scarf style, from my own experience I think the rectangular scarf ( which is the favourite & most popular nowadays) doesn't suit the rounded face too much as it makes it look bigger.
