Can we wear belts on top of our abayas/jilbabs?

Salam,

I hope you are well?

I just wanted to ask a few quick questions;

Are we allowed to wear belts on top of abaya's/jilbabs, to make it look a bit trendy?
(If so could you tell me where I would find some nice belts?)

Are we allowed to wear maxi dresses instead of abayas, (with a cardigan on top)?

I was also looking for some nice necklace type hijab headbands, I wanted something with pearl beads on, but can't seem to find them anywhere, could you help?

Thank you for your queries.

You could style your abaya or jilbab any way you want as long as it is in accordance with Islamic rules if you were to wear it among the non mahram.

If you intend to style your abaya for the girls party etc, it would be nice to spruce up simple abaya with nice and sparkly belt. You could find these belts a lot any where in shopping malls in a woman's clothing department.

Some maxi dresses are as modest in design as abaya. Whatever cloth that we are wearing the most important thing is to observe whether it is modest and covered in accordance to Islamic rule.
